I’m James Hope, Television Producer and Award Winning Editor.
I live in the beautiful South Wairarapa region of New Zealand, just an hour drive from Wellington City where some of the world’s best film and television has come to life.
My current affairs and documentary work focuses on authentic character-driven stories, often exploring historic, environmental and regional topics across Aotearoa.
My work (and sometimes my face) appears on the streaming platform TVNZ+ and the much loved broadcast television show Seven Sharp.
As a filmmaker I was recipient of the 48+ Screenwriting Development Fund, and have worked as a Producer, Screenwriter & Director on a number of independent films. I’m currently developing premium scripted drama and feature film projects.
